I've always liked these little bizzare looking creatures, and when my friend Karen decided to get one I was all for it!!  Her first 2 were companions only and then she got Poet, a white powder puff.  She was the bell of the ball... this little white puffy thing as her first meeting was at a BCOA (Basenji Club of America) national show.  Unfortunately Poet hated to show!  Karen had acquired a lovely hairless boy named Moon and she bred him.  We now have his son, Half Moon on Broadway, aka Astro.  He's a hairless and thnks he's a basenji!!
