Reggie is a wonderful little neutered red and white male. His official name is Briden’s Clever Endeavor. He was returned to me because he had decided that the toddler in his home should be below him in pack status. He was growling and snapping at the baby. He was pretty bad in a crate and can still make a ruckus if the other dogs are bothering him, but he is getting better. He shreds everything in his crate, but does sleep in it at night. Reggie is wonderful when he is not in his crate. He loves to play and snuggle. He is on the skinny side (18 pounds) and is a very picky eater but is doing better. Reggie isn’t crazy about the other male dogs in the house, but is tolerating them better everyday. He can even go out to play with them (supervised, of course). Reggie had separation anxiety at his previous home, but that has gotten better. Ideally, Reggie would probably do best in an experienced Basenji home, with another female dog to keep him company. Reggie needs to be crated when there are no humans at home to supervise. If you would like to give Reggie a chance to be your companion, please send me an email.
